This resource is for 5 GCSE PE theory individual lesson plans. Where possible most of the learning can be taught practically (more engaging for pupils). The lesson plans would be useful for those teaching GCSE PE as a new teacher or who are looking for new ideas for teaching GCSE PE. The sessions work as a good precursor to starting a Personal Training Plan as part of the coursework. This resource provides 5 very individualized Football lessons working on the basic Football skills from dribbling, passing, pass and move, tackling and shooting. These resources would be ideal for an NQT or a PGCE student starting out in PE teaching. All lessons would take roughly between 45-50 minutes long.

Each topic can be taught over a time period of between several weeks and a term (depending on the ability of the class). Topics include: Boxing, Dance, Gymnastics, sessions for students with complex needs, Health related fitness, Goalball, Bashball & Athletics. A resource for delivering Key Stage 4 Badminton. The lessons take a Sport Education focus to them with the aim of promoting the students to be more independent in the sessions and promoting them managing their own efforts. The resource has five very detailed individual lesson plans. Once the first five lessons have been delivered the format can be maintained for the rest of a term with the students becoming ingrained in the processes involved in the sessions such as setting up the equipment, sharing court time and refereeing. This resource includes an order of play, match rules, referees guide in addition to the lesson plans.

This resource has been used with a variety of SEND students particularly visual impairment, cognitive delay, physical impairment through CP, SLD and ASD. This topic would also work well with primary aged pupils. The resource includes 6 individualized lessons plans. They offer the students an introduction to the world of team building and orienteering. This resource would work so well in a special school setting or a Primary School Setting. The idea is that any students level of work is celebrated across a range of subjects as varied as DT, English, Art, PE and History. This internal competition has been well received by staff, students , parents and Ofsted alike. Each day would have a specific focus (e.g. Monday-Baking) and groups would be pitted against each other in a school to try and win points for their internal house or trophies/medals for their class. Will help with getting students to practice their class based skills in a friendly competitive environment. The outline will help provide a guide to the week and the session plans will help you get the week running as soon as you download it. Would link well with any historical event.

A swimming assessment framework for weak and non-confident swimmers. The assessment framework has been split into 5 stages that act as stepping stones for developing pupils water confidence. Upon completion of Stage 5 pupils would progress to the Swim England ‘Learn to Swim Stage 1’. Therefore this resource is a ‘pre-Swimming strokes’ swimming assessment toolkit. This resource would work well for teachers of pupils with SEN and primary school teachers who have pupils with low water confidence.

6 Goalball lesson plans. Each lesson has a unique focus from blocking, to throwing to tactics. The sessions are planned for 40 minute lessons. The lessons are progressional, building in skills gradually whilst reinforcing skills from previous lessons. These lessons will work well for all pupils including those in a mainstream, particularly where there is a focus on embracing disability sport. Anyone teaching a unit on disability inclusion could use these lessons as a guide on what the basics of Goalball and how to teach them.

This resource was originally used for students with SEN; they found the module the most motivating activity they had done in PE. This resource could work with KS3 & KS4 pupils in addition to pupils in non-main stream schools.
